Embark on Your Longarm Quilting Adventure: Essential Rental Details

Longarm Machine Rental Details

Before booking a longarm rental session, please ensure you've completed a one-time Initial Hours Tuition. You can schedule your tuition by following this link: [Initial Hours Tuition]. Once you've completed this essential training, you'll have the freedom to book as many Longarm Machine Rental sessions as your heart desires.

During your Initial Hours Tuition, you'll receive guidance on various topics, including bobbin winding, quilt loading, machine threading, thread tension management, quilt basting, pantograph usage, thread tying-off, quilt advancement, and finishing touches. If you're just starting, it's recommended to begin with a smaller project for ease of handling.

You can easily book your longarm machine rental sessions through our website using this link: Longarm Rental. Full-day bookings are available, and payment is required at the time of booking. In the event you run out of time, you may need to unload your quilt and schedule another session to complete your project. If time permits at the end of your session, you can extend it in hourly increments for £15/hour.

While we're more than happy to assist with any issues that arise, please keep in mind that renting our machine is intended to be a self-directed experience.

We provide Glide 40wt thread for your use, with a wide range of color options available. Please note that the machine is calibrated exclusively for this thread, and no other threads are permitted.

Feel free to utilise our kitchen area during your quilting sessions, equipped with a fridge, microwave, and kettle. You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages. We offer tea, coffee, hot chocolate, tap water, and squash for your convenience to create a cozy studio atmosphere. If you plan to have refreshments in the longarm room, please bring a spill-proof cup. Additionally, there's a comfortable seating area for your lunch and snack breaks.

For your convenience, we have dedicated customer parking. Please ensure you park on the shingle area and not on the block paving, as this is a requirement of our tenancy agreement.
